GRAVESEND manager Andy Ford hopes his players can avoid complacency when they face struggling Leigh RMI on Saturday.
In a fantastic start to the season Fleet has climbed to fourth in the Conference and their players need to stay focused as they entertain a side still capable of shocking.
Ford said: "On paper you look at fixtures like this as easy. But as a manager, myself and the players know it is a danger when we are expected to win.
"They've lost recently, but they have been unlucky. Hereford scored in the last minute to beat them on Saturday and before that they had a close call at Accrington, so they're obviously in there fighting.
"Leigh will be a big danger and I will have to put a big banana skin in the middle of the changing room before the match."
Ford lost the services of on loan striker Jefferson Louis as Oxford sold the player to Conference rivals Forest Green Rovers. But despite the loss Ford doesn't see the need to rush out and find a replacement.
He said: "It all depends on the current situation. If the players in there continue as they have done in the last few weeks then it would be hard for any of them to come out."
Fleet could be without defender Rumauld Bouadji who damaged a shoulder in the win against Accrington, while Jimmy Jackson will also face a late fitness test as he received a kick to his instep during the same game.
* Gravesend have been drawn at home to Stevenage Borough in the Conference's re-launched league cup, named the Carthium Cup. The game is likely to be played on Tuesday, January 25.
