Ebbsfleet manager Garry Hill has been speaking about his future after meeting with the club's owner in London.
Dr Abdulla Al-Humaidi held talks with Hill and managing director Dave Archer about what promises to be a hugely challenging summer at Stonebridge Road.
Hill's carrying on for now but hasn't made any long-term promises.
Hill said things were: "OK at the moment. I’m just reflecting going forward on what was said.
"I’m getting on with things at the moment - and I’m picking and choosing my words carefully.
"I want to get the players and everything sorted out first and get stability around the football club to make people feel a lot more happy and confident.
"Whether I get away this year for a summer holiday, I don’t know.
"I’ve got to turn round, with management staff and backroom staff, with a playing squad in place for the benefit of the football club going forward and hopefully for the supporters to have a team out on the park which can be competitive."
Asked if he would continue as Fleet manager, Hill said: "We’ll see where we go. I haven’t been told anything different.
"Me and Dave Archer talked to the boss but my No.1 priority at the moment is making sure I give these (contracted) players as much help and opportunity as possible so they can turn round and not look at me at a later date and say they haven’t been given a chance.
"I’m giving everybody a chance at the football club across the board and I think that’s the way to do it."
Hill wanted assurances about the future stability of the club so did the meeting allay those concerns?
"I’m the same as you at the moment," he said.
"All I can say is I’m working and I will be working, going forward, while I’m at Ebbsfleet Football Club, to get the stability and structure in place for that football club to compete the best they can going forward."
