Gravesend recovered from a poor first half to run out 37-10 winners over Sidcup in London 2 South last Saturday.
The visitors took the lead with a penalty and went further ahead when a pass was intercepted for a try and conversion.
Just before half-time, Gravesend registered their first points, Gary Gray kicking a penalty for a 10-3 half-time scoreline.
Gravesend took to the field in the second half a transformed team, scoring 34 points without reply.
Within minutes, debutant centre Junior Rocket went over for a try which Gray converted. Gravesend took the lead with a Gray penalty and went further ahead with a try from winger Adam Bishop which Gray converted.
With their confidence now high, Gravesend’s next try passed through the hands of least eight players before flanker Rab Forbes scored between the posts for Gray to add the conversion.
Matt Weighman sliced open the Sidcup defence for a try which was converted. Just before the whistle, Gray put over a penalty to wrap up the scoring.
