Ebbsfleet defender Peter Hawkins has signed a new one-year contract at Stonebridge Road.

The 29-year-old made 46 appearances for the Fleet last season and played a key role in the FA Trophy final win over Torquay at Wembley.

The former Wimbledon and Rushden defender is the 13th Fleet player to sign on for next season.

Back-up goalkeeper Sam Mott is close to agreeing a new deal.
