Gravesham Hockey Club men's first team entertain lowly Sevenoaks 4A on Saturday keen to make amends for the weekend 1-0 defeat away to Gillingham Anchorians 2nd.
Gravesham were caught cold in the third minute when Anchs converted their first short-corner.
Gravesham went on to dominate play, restricting Anchs to the odd breakaway. In the second half they pushed hard for the equaliser and thought they had won a penalty stroke when the ball struck a defender's foot inches from the goalline.
But the shot was going wide and only a short-corner was awarded.
Though Gravesham forced a series of corners they were unable to take advantage and the match finished in frustration for the visitors.
