Ebbsfleet boss Daryl McMahon described Bradley Bubb's last-gasp equaliser at 10-man Hampton on Saturday as "huge".
The Fleet snatched a point to keep the title race in their own hands, although they now trail leaders Maidenhead by three points with six games to go.
"I think it's a huge goal," said McMahon. "The goal we conceded was poor and we weren't at our best without a doubt but we got a point and I think it's a big point.

"It's a really tough place to come, they're a good side and they worked ever so hard when they went down to 10 men. It almost galvanised them and probably went against us a bit."
The poor pitch at Hampton meant the game was hardly easy on the eye but the Fleet boss refused to blame the surface, insisting his team just didn't reach their own high standards.
"It was the same for both teams," said McMahon. "It didn't suit our style as much.
"We've played well on worse pitches than this to be honest, Poole Town springs to mind, Whitehawk springs to mind. We just didn't perform as well as we have been.

"It's difficult to say I want the same standard that we normally get. But we did lack a bit of composure in the final third and getting the ball into the final third with quality but the boys know that."
McMahon has taken the title run-in game by game and he insisted that there is still plenty of drama ahead, although he was keen only to focus on next weekend's trip to Welling.
"We've 12 wins and 2 draws," he added. "You are going to get games like this and the run-in to the end of the season will have twists and turns, I've said it all the way along.
"I still think there's lots to happen. We've got to get ready for next week first."
