Reise Allassani is already loving life at Ebbsfleet after initiating his loan move from Coventry City.
The 22-year-old forward joined Fleet on a three-month deal last week and made his debut in the 3-1 win at Dagenham on Saturday.
A summer signing from Dulwich Hamlet, Allassani has only been given 29 minutes on the pitch in League 1 so far.
It would have been easy for Allassani to stay with the Sky Blues but you can't beat playing.
"We had maybe 12 attackers and it was hard for me to get in the side," he said. "I got a few substitute appearances and then I was back out so it's tough.
"I spoke to my agent and said 'look, I think it's best if I go on loan because I'm not getting much game time at Coventry.'
"He came back to me within a few days saying Ebbsfleet had shown interest and I saw they did really well in the league last season so I thought it would be a good fit.
"I spoke to the manager, liked what his plans were and thought it would a good move for me."
Allassani showed his class instantly, leaving the Dagenham defenders in a spin with his movement and dazzling close control.
He played so well even the home supporters applauded when he came off 17 minutes from time.
"It was really good," Allassani said. "I was surprised the boys hadn't won in six games because we started the game really strong and I thought we were solid throughout. We never looked in danger and we could have scored more on the day.
"I haven't been getting much football at Coventry so I just wanted to come and play, week in, week out. I was so excited to be starting the game and I really enjoyed myself.
"I have to play well to start, even here. There's no guarantees but it's mentally much better for me. I can look forward to a game at the weekend and know I have a good chance of playing."
Allassani caused mayhem playing in the hole behind strikers Danny Kedwell and Corey Whitely.
He said: "That's where I used to play a lot when I was younger. It's a position I really enjoy and I was happy to be playing there. I felt at home really.
"It's a good bunch of lads. Even though they hadn't won in six games, the vibe around the place is really good.
"Training was buzzing in the days before the game and on matchday, everyone was really up for it.
"I hope to score a lot of goals and play a big part in getting Ebbsfleet in a higher position than when I came in."
