Ebbsfleet United are expecting offers for their players this month but insist there will be no fire sale at Stonebridge Road.
Rival clubs in the National League are ready to make a move as the Fleet continue their financial restructure.
Managing director Dave Archer hasn’t ruled out further departures but will only sell if the price is right.
Players leaving could also free up the funds for manager Garry Hill to reinvest in his squad.
Archer said: “I’ve had contact with other National League clubs around one or two of our players but at this point in time, they are not firm offers.
“We follow a process here and when I’ve had the initial enquiry, I’ve informed those clubs of that process.
“There is no fire sale at Ebbsfleet United and there won’t be. We will get the best possible deal we can for our players and if that needs to be done to continue the restructure, I will do it.
“I won’t shy away from doing those things but we have a process and any firm offer received will be discussed with Garry Hill and (owner) Dr Abdulla, and we’ll come to a decision. If it’s in the best interests of this club, we will agree it and if not, we won’t.
“Having spoken with Garry and Dr Abdulla on regular occasions over the last few weeks, I think Dr Abdulla’s support of Garry has been fantastic.
“He’s made him aware that if there are players he wants to bring in, we’ve got to move within our business model but that doesn’t mean to say to say people won’t leave and others will be replacing them.”
Hill does have the option to bring in cover for injured club captain Dave Winfield.
The centre-half is facing months on the sidelines after a scan revealed he tore a knee ligament in the Boxing Day win over Braintree.
“It’s not good news,” Archer admitted. “Dave has suffered more than his fair share recently and we wish him a speedy recovery.
“When we get the full diagnostics and the full prognosis of the injury, Garry will be allowed to do whatever he requires to strengthen if and when he wants to do that.
“It’s a busy period but there’s a little gap coming up because we have to wait until January 19 for the Leyton Orient game.
“We have that weekend free on the 12th which probably will give Garry and Ian (Hendon) time to make any assessments and bring in any emergency cover.
“Sometimes the window can open up opportunities as well as departures – it can also mean arrivals.
“I’m not saying anything is in the air at the moment but Garry will assess that and see what he needs.”
Hill admits losing Winfield – who also missed a large chunk of last season with a similar injury – is a major blow.
He said: “We’re disappointed because he’s a major skipper on and off the field.
“Hopefully he’ll be in the right hands. The physio’s done a great job in respect of getting things moving in the right direction and so have the club. They’ve been very supportive and rightly so.
“Dave Winfield, the way he is as a model pro, will be doing his utmost to get back fit as quick as he can to represent the club again.”
