Junior tennis star's 86 games in a row

YOUNG tennis star Jack Baker is the toast of Gravesham Tennis Club after collecting four titles in last week's Junior County Tennis Championships.

Baker won the under-16s boys and under-18s boys singles titles, and the under-16s boys doubles, with Charlie Mason, and the under-16s mixed doubles, with Emily Tullett.

The 16-year-old, who is ranked third in the country in his age group, won an incredible 86 games on the trot before eventually losing one.

The coach of Gravesham Tennis Club, David Houseman, said: “It's an amazing achievement. He's an absolute star in the county and we hope he has a bright future in the game.”
