Two players from teams in Kent have been named in the England C squad.
Maidstone midfielder Sam Corne and Ebbsfleet midfielder Toby Edser are both included in a 16-man squad by England boss Paul Fairclough.
It’s a regionalised group of players selected with the game against Nepal taking place at Aldershot’s The Rec ground on Monday, May 6 (kick-off 3pm).
Along with Corne and Edser, there’s a number of players who have Kent connections in the squad.
Former Fleet keeper Nathan Ashmore (Boreham Wood) is one of two keepers in the squad, while ex-Dover centre-back Danny Collinge (Barnet) also gets a call-up.
Jack Payne (Boreham Wood) and Johnny Goddard (Slough Town) are two more former Ebbsfleet men involved while former Gillingham midfielder Josh Rees (Dagenham) is selected after another excellent season in front of goal.
Former Maidstone striker Jack Barham (Aldershot) will also feature for England.
Ebbsfleet also say that Myles Kenlock, Ben Chapman and Dominic Poleon are on standby to be included.
