A DISAPPOINTING performance saw Gravesend come away from Saturday's Nationwide Conference clash at Morecambe with nothing.

The Fleet started the match three places above their opponents in the table but Liam Daish's team never got out of the traps.

Gravesend gifted the home side the winner on 42 minutes when a misunderstanding between keeper Lance Cronin and Ross Smith led to the defender heading Adriano Rigoglioso's corner into his own net.
