Gravesend & Northfleet 1 - 2 Kidderminster
GRAVESEND gave themselves too much to do after going two goals down against Kidderminster at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Kidderminster took the lead after 25 minutes when the impressive Iyseden Christie got on the end of Michael Blackwood's pass and beat Craig Holloway in the Fleet goal.
The home side almost levelled immediately but Andy Drury's shot was well saved by Kidderminster keeper John Danby.
And Danby made an even better save from Charlie MacDonald's header in the 38th minute to keep his side in front.
The visitors went two up nine minutes into the second period when full back Wayne Hatswell was in the right place to slot home after a corner had been nodded back across the goal.
MacDonald gave Gravesend hope when he latched onto a long ball upfield, held off his marker and swept the ball home, but they failed to find an equaliser.
