Fleet boss Daryl McMahon praised his team's character after the derby win at Welling on Saturday.
The Fleet played more than 50 minutes with 10 men against the struggling Wings but grabbed the points thanks to Jack Powell's late winner in National League South.
McMahon said: "We started the game quite brightly got the goal and had a couple of other chances.

"It was a great bit of skill by Powelly for the first goal and great movement by Darren McQueen to get across the front of it.
"Going down to 10 men changes the complexion of the game totally.
"I said at half-time there isn't a team in this division that I'd rather be manager of at half-time down to 10 men with the fitness levels and togetherness we have in the changing room and I think I was proved right.
"To go to 1-1 with 10 men and then show the character to bounce back and still be a creative team going forward to try and get chances was incredible from the team."
As for the red card, McMahon wants to watch the video again before deciding whether to appeal the decision.
But the footage appears to show referee Aji Ajibola did get a clear view of the incident.
"I'll have to have a look on the video again," said McMahon. "Dave said he put his arm up as you do to jump for the ball and head it."
Match-winner Powell made it nine goals for the season, showing great composure in the penalty area before tucking away the winner at Park View Road.
McMahon added: "With five or 10 minutes to go I was looking at Powelly and thinking it was a great learning curve for him.
"He is a young player and we speak a lot about his development, at his age, being in this environment with the crowd and a derby. He set a goal up (too), his learning now is massive and he is only going to get better and better."
