Exeter City 2 Ebbsfleet United 3 (aet)
A CHRIS McPhee penalty in the dying seconds of extra-time sent Ebbsfleet United into the fifth round of the Setanta Shield at Exeter on Friday.
The referee pointed to the spot a minute from the end of the second period of extra-time after a handball by Daniel Seaborne and McPhee smashed home to make it 3-2.
Adam Stansfield's header had given the home side an early lead on eight minutes, but the Fleet levelled late on when substitute Luke Moore, making his 100th appearance for the club, converted a Liam Coleman cross.
John Akinde put the visitors ahead for the first time with a header from a corner, but George Friend's deflected effort made it 2-2.
The game seemed to be heading for penalties before McPhee intervened.
