Ebbsfleet 1 Crawley 0
EBBSFLEET manager Liam Daish praised his side’s concentration levels following their 1-0 win over Crawley at Stonebridge Road on Tuesday.
Raphael Nade’s 78th minute header was the difference between the two sides in a drab game which was played in front of the Setanta Sports cameras.
In Fleet’s previous two games, Daish has seen his side throw away a goal lead and end up with two 1-1 draws.
He said: “This result backs up our two draws on the road and makes those two points big.
"The players were disciplined and everyone did their job.
"They weren’t rash, stayed on their feet and I felt they learnt from Saturday.”
The game’s only goal came just six minutes later when Crawley failed to clear their lines and Chris McPhee’s right-wing cross was met by Nade who powered his header into the bottom corner.
