The new FIA Formula 2 Championship car has been unveiled at Brands Hatch.

The car, which has been designed by the AT&T Williams Formula 1 team, completed its first public demonstration laps around the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

It was watched by guests including Sir Frank Williams and Williams F1 Head of Engineering Patrick Head.

The unveiling was part of Brands Hatch's 2009 season launch on Monday during which there were public demonstration laps by riders and drivers from the major championships visiting the Kent circuit this year.
