'Nothing to lose' as Fleet face unbeaten leaders

DAISH: "A lot of people will be writing us off"

Gravesend & Northfleet v Oxford United

MANAGER Liam Daish has urged his Gravesend & Northfleet players to do their own jobs properly as the club look to become the first side to beat Oxford United in the Nationwide Conference on Saturday.

Fleet have slipped out of the play-off places following league defeats to Morecambe and Cambridge United.

A bumper crowd is expected at Stonebridge Road and Daish has called on his players to embrace the occasion.

He said: "It’s a really tough game. A lot of people will be writing us off but we can go out there and we’ve got nothing to lose."

Robert Quinn will miss the game through suspension. Mark DeBolla (ankle), James Smith and Paul McCarthy (Achilles) are all struggling for fitness.
