Jason Plato heads into an all-or-nothing final round of the British Touring Car championship at Brands Hatch this weekend.
The British racer is well adrift of runaway leader Fabrizio Giovanardi but still mathematically within striking distance should the Italian slip up.
Giovanardi sits top of the driver standings with 261 points, 44 ahead of Plato, with three races remaining and 52 points available at Brands.
Plenty of eyes will be on the battle for the independent drivers’ title, which will be fought between Colin Turkington, Mat Jackson and Adam Jones.
Also hoping for a look-in and their first win of the season will be Wrotham’s Motorbase Performance team.
Drivers Rob Collard and Steven Kane have both taken second places but neither have climbed to the top of the podium yet.
Adult tickets are £28 while children 12 and under go free.
