Dean Rance is ready to right the wrongs of two years ago when he missed the play-off final through suspension as Ebbsfleet lost to Dover.
Rance was sent off late in the second leg against Bromley in 2013-14 but he’s set to start on Saturday when Fleet face Maidstone at Stonebridge Road.
The midfielder, who turns 25 on the day of the final, said: "It’s time to put it right.
"It’s been a long time coming. I’m looking forward to it and all the boys are.
"From July 1, when we first came in, this is what we’ve been building to and it’s finally here.
"There’s no second chances now, we’ve got to grab it with both hands and hit the ground running.
"We know Maidstone are going to be up for the battle but if we turn up on the day I think we’ll have too much for them. We’ve just got to give everything we’ve got.
"The fact it’s a Kent derby will add a little bit to it. You’ve got to stay calm, take it like any other game and not let your emotions get the better of you.
"It’ll be a good game. We know what they’re about and we know exactly what they’re going to bring. They’re solid.
"The games we’ve played against them were tight and we probably played better here even though we didn’t get the result (Maidstone won 1-0).
"It’ll be interesting. It’s a one-off game so form and everything goes out of the window."
