GRAVESEND Rugby Club have been awarded the RFU Seal of Approval for London South Club of the Year.

The club impressed RFU and Sport England judges for their efforts in increasing and sustaining the number of young people playing rugby.

Gravesend run six senior men’s teams as well as a girls’ team and youth teams ranging from under-7s to under-18s, with nearly 200 children playing on a regular basis.

The club’s coaches are also encouraged to attend courses to gain official RFU qualifications.
