Ebbsfleet's woeful home record continued on Saturday with defeat to Harrogate Town.
Fleet have now lost six of their eight National League matches at Stonebridge Road, taking just four of a possible 24 points.
Awful weather was one factor in a low crowd but those statistics must now be putting the locals off too.
On-loan Coventry forward Reise Allassani made his home debut for Ebbsfleet, who were unchanged from the 3-1 win at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Harrogate, the league's top scorers at kick-off, brought fit-again Jack Emmett back into their starting line-up.
The first half, played in driving rain, wasn't much of a spectacle.
Nathan Ashmore directed an early clearance straight to George Thomson, who tried to lob the back-pedalling keeper as he scrambled across his goal.
Fleet, kicking into the wind, were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box when Dean Rance was tripped by Josh Falkingham but Myles Weston's free-kick was straight into the wall.
The home side seemed content to let Harrogate keep possession in their own half but gradually the visitors began to gain ground.
A low cross from the left was blazed over by Thomson at the near post before Corey Whitely was harshly booked for a challenge near the touchline.
With half an hour played, Harrogate took the lead. Callum Howe got up well to meet Joe Leesley's right-wing corner and his header squeezed between Ashmore and Weston, who was stood on the far post.
Rance caught Emmett late moments after the goal and was rightly booked, despite the Harrogate players rushing in to surround referee Richard Hulme demanding a red card.
Ebbsfleet were struggling to get out of their half and it took a driving run from centre-half Chris Bush to create their only real chance of the opening 45 minutes. Bush ran past two players and whipped in a decent cross which Weston, arriving late, volleyed over at the far post.
Bagasan Graham made way for Sam Magri at half-time as the home side switched to a back four and looked to play more direct into Danny Kedwell.
Weston's swirling free-kick from wide on the right was dangerous but Winfield's touch at the back post only carried the ball back across the face of goal.
Howe hacked a shot over for Harrogate, whose work-rate off the ball was denying Fleet space in attacking areas.
The hosts had two penalty shouts for handball ignored but they lacked quality on the ball, faced with a wall of yellow defence.
An already quiet Stonebridge Road was silenced 19 minutes from time when the visitors stole in down the right and Aaron Williams lashed the ball past Ashmore, who didn't know whether to come or stay.
Fleet looked rudderless after that while Harrogate showed exactly why they're yet to lose away from home since being promoted.
They scrapped for every loose ball and defended their box superbly while Ebbsfleet completely ran out of ideas.
Daryl McMahon's side didn't manage a shot on target until stoppage-time and something has to change - fast.
