Ron Hillyard has left Ebbsfleet United after serving as their goalkeeping coach for 14 years.
Hillyard worked under Liam Daish, Steve Brown, Jamie Day and Daryl McMahon at Stonebridge Road but the 64-year-old has now decided to call it a day.
His place on the Fleet staff has been taken by Michael Jordan, a former Arsenal schoolboy and England U19 international who played League football for Chesterfield and then had spells at Stevenage, Eastbourne, Farnborough and Boreham Wood.
Ebbsfleet vice-chairman Peter Varney said: "Ron is wanting to spend more time with his family from this point and I know what a huge service he has given this club. In my time alone, he has been a fantastic servant to Ebbsfleet United and his time here goes back long before then.
"Most of all we’ll miss his sense of humour but his professionalism in developing goalkeepers one after the other at this club has been second to none.
"I’m sure he’ll be back to visit us and cast his eye over how the lads between the sticks are developing throughout this season and beyond."
Speaking to KentOnline last October, Hillyard praised the work done by the Fleet's Kuwaiti owners since they bought the club from MyFootballClub in 2013.
He said: "It’s much more professional now. We’ve got the best infrastructure within the club to support the football side that we’ve ever had - and possibly the best that I’ve had in my career anywhere.
"It’s really going to sustain and help the football side progress, so that’s vital. Hopefully there’s good times ahead."
