GRAVESEND will get a cash boost after Sky TV announced that they will televise Fleet’s FA Cup clash with Notts County on December 6.
This is a fantastic reward for the club who have missed out in the past on TV revenue since the satellite broadcaster started showing live Nationwide Conference fixtures.
Tough ties against Exeter, who they beat on penalties after a thrilling replay that ended 3-3, and then a gutsy 1-0 win at Chester show that Fleet have all the tools to cause an upset.
Should Fleet come through their second round proper tie against County, they will win an extra £15,000 and would hope to draw a Premiership club in the third round.
The match will be all-ticket. Terraces will be £12 and seating will be priced at £14. Kick off is 5.35pm.
