Ebbsfleet United’s latest signing is a former Gillingham striker.
Greg Cundle has been on trial with the National League South side during pre-season and is the third new striker to join the club.
The 23-year-old has been among the goals during the season warm-up with three in the second half against Punjab United while also featuring against Dagenham and Hornchurch.
Cundle started his career with the Gills, signing professionally at Priestfield after coming through their youth set-up.
He was well known to Fleet's recently departed director of football Steve Lovell , who included him in a handful of League 1 fixtures while manager of the Football League club.
Cundle had made his league debut at Rochdale in March 2017 and was handed his one and only start by Lovell in December of the same year.
Lovell’s Ebbsfleet departure hasn’t stopped new boss Dennis Kutrieb from making Cundle one of his many new additions.
Since playing for Gillingham, Cundle has appeared for Kingstonian and East Grinstead, impressing there and earning a move to Concord Rangers, where he was held back by injury. He ended the season at Horsham.
He joins fellow forwards Rakish Bingham and Reece Grant at the club.
