Daryl McMahon has urged goal-shy Ebbsfleet to stick to their principles ahead of another testing National League road trip.
Fleet travel to Barnet on Saturday having scored just twice in their first four games.
But McMahon believes his side are better than they were a year ago and is confident the goals will come.
He said: "If you go back and watch the four games we’ve played so far, the other teams don’t have many chances against us.
"We’ve got the ball the whole time and it’s about us turning it into goals.
"I’ve got no doubt we will - we’ve got too many good players and we’re creating too many chances not to - but we’ve got to do it quick.
"You’ve got to turn these performances into wins because it bodes well for confidence.
"We’ve got to keep believing in what we’re doing and keep showing the courage to play how we play."
Barnet, relegated from League 2 last season, have yet to register a win this season.
They've already suffered two defeats this week, to Eastleigh and Harrogate, so boss John Still is bound to have them fired up for Saturday.
"We know it’ll be a tough game," McMahon said. "John’s teams are decent.
"But so far this season, in terms of where we are this year compared to last year, we’re a far better team.
"You can see that already in the confidence in this group in terms of going into games and taking control of the ball wherever we go and we’re positive in what we do."
Centre-half Kenny Clark and midfielder Dean Rance could both return to the squad on Saturday after missing the start of the season through injury.
Neither were involved on Tuesday as Ebbsfleet lost 1-0 at home to Sutton.
McMahon said: "I’m looking forward to getting both of them back. They’re both big players and, more importantly, big characters.
"In games like this, they’re strong and they’re not nice people when they play football.
"They’re aggressive in the right way but we had more than enough of the ball and more than enough good players on the pitch to win the game.
"We had two opportunities, two headers from crosses in the first 10 minutes and they’ve got to go in.
"It’s as simple as that but we’ll get better. We performed all right and we now need to score some goals.
"If I’m standing here and we haven’t created chances, I’d be scratching my head thinking ‘OK, where do we go from here?’ but the fact of the matter is we’ve dominated the game.
"We’ve just got to relax and keep doing what we’re doing."
