Ebbsfleet United’s latest signing said it was a no-brainer to join the club.
Pacey defender Tobi Adebayo-Rowling could have stayed at Eastbourne Borough, and had options elsewhere, but jumped at the chance to sign a deal at the Kuflink Stadium.
Adebay-Rowling , 23, can play further forward and started his professional career at Peterborough United before spells with League of Ireland sides Sligo Rovers and Cork City.
He returned to England to play at Bromley and has spent the last two years with Eastbourne.
Following his move, he told the club that Fleet were the only team for him as he looks for a new challenge.
He said: “I got the call from Steve Lovell (the club’s director of football) and it sounded perfect for me.
“I did have other options but to be honest, as soon as I got this call it was a no-brainer.
“I was in other talks but as soon as I came in to Ebbsfleet and talked to everyone, I knew this was the one.”
Adebayo-Rowling will bring plenty of pace to the right-flank, where he can play as a full-back, wing-back or as a winger.
“I love getting forward, that’s my main game,” he said, adding: “I’m looking forward to finally getting started.”
