A former Kent student has completed a dream move to Italian giants AC Milan.
Defender Fikayo Tomori, who attended Gravesend Grammar School, spent the second half of last season on loan in Serie A.
AC Milan have now made that move permanent in a deal worth £25million and the 23-year-old has signed a four-year deal.
A club statement from AC Milan said: "AC Milan is delighted to announce the exercising of the option for the permanent transfer of Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola Tomori from Chelsea.
"The English defender, who made 22 appearances and scored one goal over the last season, will continue to play with the Club until 30 June 2025."
Tomori initially joined Milan in January after falling out of favour at Chelsea under then manager Frank Lampard.
He spent his youth career at the south west London club, winning the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League, as well as being named Academy Player of the Year in 2016.
The academy graduate then stepped up to the first team and impressed as part of coach Lampard's youthful side in 2019/20.
Tomori has one England cap to his name, having made his debut in November 2019 against Kosovo in a Euro 2020 qualifier.
