Daryl McMahon says hard work will be the key to Ebbsfleet realising their promotion ambitions.
Bradley Bubb scored twice, with Kenny Clark, his second in successive home games, and Sean Shields getting the others in the 4-0 win against Concord, and close the gap on leaders Maidenhead to three points.
Boss McMahon reckons it's too early to talk about the title and believes it's still Alan Devonshire's men to lose.
"We want to win promotion, that's the aim, how we'll do it, we'll see." he said.
"It's still in Maidenhead's hands, they are in the driving seat, we are in decent form, and probably putting pressure on them with our results, but we still have to go and do it.
"It's still only February, there is a long way to go, I know that myself, having been in the same situation last season.
"We still have a lot of work to do to get anywhere near winning promotion, there's no magic formula - just hard work - and we as a group know that."
"It's all about players doing their jobs properly - they are all ambitious and want to achieve - we all are- working hard is the cornerstone of any team."
McMahon admitted he was ready to give his side a "gee-up" at half-time, until Bubb got his first of the game - three minutes before the interval.
He said: "We started the game well, but then had a little bit a lull after the first 10 or 15 minutes, took our foot of the gas, and missed some opportunities.
"It could have been 1-1 because (Concord sub) Tony Stokes had a chance from the sort of range he is very good from - 17 or 18 yards - that went over the bar.
"It was all about cutting out errors we were making, but the lads have been great for the last four or five weeks, and they were back on it very quickly.
McMahon added: "I was looking forward to getting them in at half-time and give them a little gee-up, then Bubby scores the second, and that probably saw the game done then.
"The second half was about being professional, and doing things properly.
"Bubby's goal tally is very good for the minutes he has played, and I was glad Sean scored.
"He has done a defensive job in the last two weeks very well, and it was great for him to get one as well."
McMahon says his decision to allow Reiss Greenidge and Charlie Sheringham to join Hemel Hempstead on loan is all about them getting the chance to play matches.
Greenidge will be with them until March 9, while Sheringham's move is for the rest of the season.
"They aren't involved here and it's better than sitting in the stands, and I wish both of them the best of luck."
Sheringham scored on his debut in the 3-2 win at East Thurrock, with ex-Fleet man Jordan Parkes also on target.
