EBBSFLEET UNITED is a step closer to being in the hands of fans website MyFootballClub.co.uk after 95.7 per cent of members voted to approve the takeover.
A second vote saw 95.6 per cent give Liam Daish their backing to continue with any plans he has for the January transfer window.
Members will now decide whether the club should employ a new kit manufacturer and if so, they can select home and away shirt designs - they will also be invited to put themselves forward for the Trust Board.
The team selector, designed to help members select the team, will be going live so people can familiarise themselves with it but members will not start to control team selection until March.
There remains one more vote by current shareholders but it is a formality as those holding more than 75 per cent of shares have signed irreversible undertakings to vote in favour of the takeover.
Meanwhile, Ebbsfleet will face Weymouth in the third round of the FA Trophy.
The Terras finally overcame Kidderminster Harriers 3-0 on penalties after last night's replay ended 2-2.
