Skipper Danny Kedwell believes no other team can match Ebbsfleet when his side are on top of their game.
The Fleet are being matched stride for stride in the National League South title race by Maidenhead, who lead the table by three points.
Having extended their unbeaten run to 15 games, Kedwell hopes the single-minded approach to the second half of the season is rewarded with the title at the end of the month.
“When we play at the top of our game, we’re unstoppable in this league,” said Kedwell.
“We’ve got to make sure we’re on top of it every week until the end of the season.
“We’ve got to perform like we have done at home. We’ve got to keep going and hopefully at the end of the season this unbeaten run pays off."
Kedwell missed a penalty in the draw at Hampton but scored a spot-kick against Welling on Saturday.
He insisted there was no doubt who was going to take the Fleet’s next penalty.
“Cookie (Anthony Cook) came and took the ball and I just laughed at him and took the ball back, so it didn’t take too much persuading,” said Kedwell. “I was always going to take it no matter what.
“At Hampton, one of the comments by the players was don’t go down the middle and I changed my mind. I was more disappointed with myself than listening to someone.
“Everyone misses penalties but against Welling I had the willpower to go up and take one, so I’m happy I scored.
“It was one of them when as soon as I got the ball I knew where I was going, I wasn’t going to change my mind this time. Whatever anyone said, I was going to do what I wanted.”
