In-form Corey Whitely believes the tables will turn if Ebbsfleet keep playing their "exciting" brand of football.
The 27-year-old has netted twice already this season and was their brightest player in the midweek defeat to Sutton.
Whitely looks fitter than ever and is proving a vital link from midfield to attack.
A goalscoring substitute at Leyton Orient and Hartlepool, he was back in the team in midweek.
He said: "The style of football we play is positive. We always go to win the game, we don't try to get a draw.
"We're an exciting team and the tables will turn. We'll start winning.
"I couldn't ask for much more than two goals in four games.
"My fitness levels are up and I feel like I can run 90 minutes at full speed."
Whitely was lively right from the start against Sutton and looked Ebbsfleet's most likely route to goal throughout.
"It was a frustrating game," he said. "We didn't play too bad but we just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.
"That's been the story of our season so far. We're playing good football.
"We started sharp. We sussed them out and I don't think they knew who to mark or pick up. We should have exploited that a bit more and gone in front but that's the punishment if you don't score first.
"The gaffer told us the first goal was important. We knew if they got the first goal they'd sit deep and probably bring on another defender, shut up shop and that's what they did.
"We couldn't break them down. We tried but just couldn't hit the back of the net."
