The air ambulance landed on Herne Bay beach to help an injured woman.

The helicopter was called at 12.45pm yesterday after the woman suffered a head injury in a fall.

She was flown to the specialist neurological unit at King's College Hospital in south London.

The South-East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
