Air ambulance medics called to help with emergency in Herne Bay

The air ambulance was sent to Herne Bay this evening where its medics helped with an emergency.

People watched as the helicopter landed close to the seafront.

An eyewitness said: "Two doctors got out of the helicopter and were driven to Studd Hill Community Centre to attend to someone.

"They returned to the helicopter and took off at around 8.30pm."

The details of the medical incident are not known.
