Appeal over boy's sexual behaviour

DETECTIVES have appealed for information after linking three incidents in which females have been touched by a boy and a fourth incident of indecent exposure.
All of them have happened during the past three months in the Herne Bay area.
The latest known occasion was October 15 but officers believe that there may have been other incidents which women have not reported.
The first reported incident was on August 26 when two women, both aged in their 30s, were walking towards the rail station down an alleyway off Station Road.
On the embankment, they saw a boy who was naked from the waist down and making gestures.
On August 28, a 56-year-old Herne Bay woman was walking down an alleyway off Eddington Lane, again near the rail station, when a boy on a bike stopped to let her past and touched her breast.
On September 9, a 16-year-old Herne Bay girl was walking along an alley near the Heron pub in Station Road when a boy came up behind her and put his arms around her waist and made a sexual action.
In the most recent incident, a 27-year-old woman was walking on a footbridge leading to Pigeon Lane when a boy grabbed her from the front and made a sexual action.
All the victims have described the boy as being aged between 10 and 12.
Anyone who has witnessed any of these incidents, or has experienced anything similar, is being urged to contact Det Con Katrena Coleman on 01227 868284.
Police have arrested a Herne Bay boy in connection with the incidents. He has been released on bail until October 31 pending a decision by the Crown Prosecution Service.
