Biker airlifted to London hospital after crash at Greenhill roundabout on A2990 Old Thanet Way near Herne Bay

A biker has been airlifted to a London hospital after a crash near a Lidl supermarket.

Police and paramedics were called to the Greenhill roundabout in Herne Bay yesterday to a motorcycle collision.

A man was treated on the A2990 Old Thanet Way near Lidl before they were airlifted to hospital.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called shortly after 10:30pm yesterday to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle on the Greenhill Roundabout in Herne Bay.

“Crews arrived on scene and assessed and treated one person before the air ambulance airlifted them to King’s College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.”
