Fire crews tackled a blaze at a storage unit this morning.

Firefighters were called just before 5am today, and used one jet, one hose reel and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, which caused extensive damage to the front of the building in Beach Street, Herne Bay.

They left at 6.09am.
