A 15-year-old schoolgirl waiting to cross the road in a town centre was confronted by a man in a car who exposed himself.

The incident occurred at around 5pm on Thursday, Januray 12, at a pedestrian crossing in Herne Bay High Street close to the junction with Canterbury Road.

Kent Police spokesman Michael Ivatt said: "The driver was aged between 55 and 60 and was in a green people carrier. He was the only person in the car and he drove off along Belting Road."
