Emergency services called to Herne Bay for incident believed to involve jetski

Emergency services have attended a jetski crash in Herne Bay this afternoon.

Police cars and ambulances have been seen on the sea wall near The Hampton, Herne Bay.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called by SECAmb at 3.50pm to reports of an accident involving a jet ski and dinghy in the sea at Herne Bay.

The air ambulance was called to the scene. Stock picture.

"A man has been airlifted to hospital. The incident is not being investigated by Kent Police."
