A water main has burst on a busy road between Herne Bay and Canterbury.

Engineers are at the scene of the rupture on the A291 Canterbury Road at Herne.

It happened near Lower Herne Road at around 9am and is causing delays for drivers.

South East Water says tempory traffic lights will be installed to allow repairs to be carried out.
