Fire crews have spent the night tackling a blaze which engulfed a derelict house.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 11pm yesterday following reports of an empty house on fire in Osborne Gardens, Herne Bay, and creating huge amounts of smoke.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene where crews used water from a nearby hydrant to put the fire out.
There were no reported injuries and the fire was under control by 2.45am today.
