A 19-year-old arrested on Saturday following a five-hour stand-off with police on Herne Bay seafront has been bailed while inquiries continue.
A man was reportedly seen brandishing a knife from the first floor of a property in Central Parade while several officers remained outside attempting to reason with him.
Police arrested a teenager at 6.35pm on suspicion of assault and false imprisonment and he has been bailed until January 27.
Dolphin Street was closed during the incident, as well as a section of the seafront between Richmond Street and Station Road, with officers diverting traffic away from the area.
Police have confirmed that a 17-year-old girl was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer.
She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
