Gary Lloyd, from Broomfield, charged with GBH after alleged assault in Herne

A suspect has been charged after a man was seriously hurt in an alleged assault.

The victim suffered severe injuries following the incident at an address in the Albion Lane area of Herne on April 11.

A Broomfield man has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Gary Lloyd, 26, of Ford Road, has been bailed until September 9, when he will appear at Thanet Magistrates' Court.

No more details have been given about the nature of the incident or the extent of the man's injuries.
