Herne Bay man John Hazelgrove charged after Saxon Shore 'knife threat'

A 23-year-old has been charged after a number of pub-goers were allegedly threatened by a man with a knife.

Police were called to the Saxon Shore in Central Parade, Herne Bay, at just after 11.30pm on Wednesday night.

It was reported a man had threatened several people before leaving the Wetherspoon pub.

The incident reportedly happened at the Saxon Shore in Central Parade (3641717)

John Hazelgrove, of Rowland Drive, Greenhill, has been charged with affray and possessing a knife in a public place.

He is due to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on September 20.
