A 43-year-old man has been charged with a stabbing outside a town centre nightclub.
Vivid owner Karl Ahmad had to undergo major surgery and spend six days in hospital following the attack outside the nightspot in Herne Bay High Street on July 9 last year.
The dad-of-four, who has owned the club for nine years, was stabbed at about 2.45am that morning.
Anthony Ridge, of Charles Street in Herne Bay, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He appeared before Thanet magistrates last Thursday and was released on bail to attend Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday, November 8.
