A pregnant 'honeytrap' suspect lured a man back to her flat for sex so her boyfriend could rob him at knifepoint, it is alleged.

Hollie Cheeseman, 32, persuaded the victim she was interested in him before inviting him to her home in Greenhill, near Herne Bay, a jury has been told.

Prosecutors allege the pair undressed and lay on the bed before Cheeseman's boyfriend, Jeremy Long, 40, burst in with a knife and threatened to cut off the man's private parts.

It is claimed he was then locked in the flat as Long went to a cashpoint to withdraw money, but the account was empty.

Cheeseman has denied two charges of robbery and one of false imprisonment.

Bridget Todd, prosecuting at Canterbury Crown Court, said Cheeseman told the alleged victim, who was 55, she was called Amy.

At 5pm on June 13 she visited him at his flat and made out that she wanted to become intimate, the court heard.

She then suggested they went back to her flat.

“They both undressed and lay on the bed but before anything happened Cheeseman’s boyfriend Jeremy Long burst in with a knife,” Miss Todd said.

Long threatened to stab the victim and Cheeseman took his wallet and bank card and demanded the PIN, she told the jury.

After going to an ATM, Long was unable to withdraw any money because the account was overdrawn, she claimed.

The jury was told he returned to the flat and threatened to punch the victim and put him in his car boot and drive him off somewhere to beat him up.

“They all went to the victim’s flat where they systematically went around it and took a number of items of property,” Miss Todd said.

“This included a television, PS4, phone, tablet, money and a box of documents.

"The victim’s son returned and contacted the police.”

The alleged victim then told officers the ordeal was "frightening", and that he and Cheeseman had become friends after meeting just six days beforehand.

But he was unfamiliar with Long, who, he told officers, threatened to cut off his private parts after seeing him with Cheeseman.

"He kept on pointing it (the knife) at me waving it about," he said.

CCTV footage led officers to Cheeseman and Long, and when the police turned up at their flat most of the alleged victim’s property was still there.

“They were even watching the victim’s television,” Miss Todd said.

Cheeseman denies being involved in the scam.

Her barrister, Niall Doherty, claimed the victim voluntarily handed over his belongings, bank card and PIN, by way of apology for becoming involved with Cheeseman.

Cross-examining the man, Mr Doherty said: "Long (becomes) quite aggressive saying 'what are you doing with my missus' and you're saying you’re sorry. You offered him money."

"No, not exactly, I didn’t offer him any money - he was demanding it," the alleged victim told the jury.

"You offer the man loose change don’t you? About seven pounds?" Mr Doherty said.

"Yes, it is all in change," he replied.

You said he could take stuff," Mr Doherty added.

"No I didn’t say he could take it," said the alleged victim.

After her arrest, Cheeseman denied a knife was ever brandished.

Long, of Collins Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and one count of false imprisonment in July this year.

Cheeseman's trial continues.
