Mystery of man who vanished on Bonfire Night

HAROLD BARLETT: disappeared on November 5, 2004

KENT police are still seeking information regarding a man who has been missing for almost a year.

Harold Bartlett, now aged 59, was last seen at around 10.30am on Friday, November 5, at his home in Herne Bay.

Mr Bartlett, also known as Harry, is 5ft 3in tall and has green eyes. When last seen he had short, grey hair and a goatee beard. yes.

Mr Bartlett was known to be depressed when he went missing and did not appear to have taken any possessions with him.

At the time a police helicopter, search teams and coastguard were involved in trying to find him.

Missing person officer, PC Emma Atkins, said: “We would very much welcome any information about Harold Bartlett. When people go missing it causes an enormous strain on family and friends as they have no closure on the matter.

"We would urge Mr Bartlett or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact us, in confidence if they wish.”
