Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after arresting two men believed to be involved in a street brawl in Herne Bay town centre last week.

The fight between several people broke out in the High Street on Saturday at 12.20am, leaving three men needing hospital treatment for suspected fractures and a dislocated shoulder.

Police called to Eastchurch

Investigating officer DC Ronald Smith said: “Two men have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been bailed.

“We know that there were a lot of people around the area that night, many of who may have seen this incident and we would urge them to come forward.”
