POLICE in Herne Bay carried out a series of dawn raids today on the homes of so-called 'boy racers' and confiscated their cars.
The vehicles have been seized under the police Reform Act after they had been spotted being driven anti-socially in the district.
Police officers and a car transporter have collected three cars whose owners were not forewarned.
The owners of seized cars will be required to pay over a £100 in costs to reclaim the cars and if they don't pay up within 21 days the vehicles will be crushed.
