The Red Arrows have agreed to return to the Herne Bay Air Show this year - meaning the hugely popular event will definitely go ahead.
Organisers said the spectacular show would only be held this year if the arrows agreed to take part.
This evening, The Bay Promo Team has announced the world-famous display team has been booked.
Last year, 70,000 people lined the seafront as the team headlined an event thought to be the town's biggest ever.
In a statement, the Bay Promo Team said: "We've only gone and got them!
"The BayPromoTeam are delighted to announce that they have secured the world-famous Red Arrows display team for Herne Bay for the second year in a row!
"Joining them on Sunday August 14th, the RAF have confirmed will be the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which includes the Spitfire, Hurricane, the much sought-after Lancaster Bomber, and the jaw-dropping Eurofighter Typhoon.
"We've provisionally booked a big line-up to compliment the RAF element, and we are realistically looking at upwards of 40 aircraft displaying offshore here on Aug 14th.
"Courtesy of the Friends of Herne Bay Clock Tower, we've got the country's top Queen tribute, Queen II lined up for the evening entertainment for a mini Wembley-style stage performance on the Clock Tower Plaza which will go down a real treat too!"
Organisers are now stepping up their fundraising campaign, by asking supporters to donate via their Facebook page, or by emailing baypromoteam@gmail.com.
