A Morrisons supermarket has turned to the music of a hit Disney classic to help combat the opening of an Aldi store next door.

Staff at the Herne Bay branch have filmed an amateur video showing them dancing around the aisles to Beauty and the Beast's Be Our Guest.

The two-minute clip is introduced by an employee called Holly, who does her best to read from a script promoting Morrisons' commitment to its customers.

The footage was uploaded to Facebook in the wake of the opening of budget chain Aldi just yards away yesterday.

It follows a free food war between the two firms, who between them dished out hot dogs, bacon sandwiches, doughnuts and hot cross buns in an effort to entice customers.
